Every neighborhood deserves a joint like Bistro 185 in North Collinwood. The food is familiar, the atmosphere is cozy, and the prices won't break the bank. The lunch menu carries one daily special, plus salads and sandwiches that mostly are built around burgers, chicken and tuna melts. The kitchen kicks up the night grub with dishes with global accents. Appetizers range from a classic romaine wedge salad with chopped egg and bacon to shrimp and vegetable pot stickers. Entrees include the familiar pork tenderloin, chicken parmesan and medallions of beef, and the more exotic, such as sesame-crusted yellowfin tuna with ginger-miso sauce. For dessert, choose from the delicacies in the pastry case, made off premises by a superb home cook.
